Moxibustion treatment
This is a deep heat massage that works by allowing heat to penetrate down into the bones. This treatment is used in conjunction with a manipulation massage.
Lymph massage
The lymph massage stimulates the lymph glands. The intention is to open up the channels in your body to reduce inflammation and fluid retention. This treatment may help with general circulation and ease swelling in legs and ankles. Its purpose is also to help clear the body of toxins.
Meridian massage/acupressure
Meridian massage is based on the same theory as acupuncture and works on the 14 meridians. Its aim is to detoxify the body; patients have reported that it has helped with a range of issues including stress, aches and pains and difficulty sleeping.
Massages to accompany a weight management regime
Losing weight is a combination of adhering to a good diet and getting the right amount of exercise. Our massages work in combination with a healthy regime. Patients have reported that our massages have helped them in their weight loss journey, and that their appetite has temporarily subsided afterwards.
